ChromaLayer is a Windows tray app, sold as a one-time purchase ($5.99) for lifetime access to that license — not a subscription. Checkout is processed by Dodo Payments. On payment, you get a download link and license access for the current version and future updates.
Your purchase grants a personal, non-transferable license to install and run ChromaLayer on your own devices. You may not resell, redistribute, or relicense the installer or license key.
ChromaLayer applies display color adjustments (vibrancy, temperature, brightness, contrast, black level, white point, hue) through the Windows Magnification API, and re-applies them after sign-in, unlock, resume, and display changes. It is not a color calibration tool — it has no colorimeter and doesn't produce a measured, accurate white point. It is built for and works on all GPUs (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA) on a single built-in SDR display; it doesn't support HDR or multi-monitor color control.
ChromaLayer is provided "as is." We work to keep it stable, but we don't guarantee it will be free of bugs or compatible with every laptop, driver version, or Windows build. The 14-day trial exists specifically so you can confirm it works on your machine before paying.
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen will show a warning the first time you run it. That's a certificate we haven't purchased yet, not a sign of tampering — we say this upfront rather than let you find out after paying.
To the extent permitted by law, ChromaLayer and its founders aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the software. If something is actually broken, tell us — email support@chromalayer.app and we'll fix it or refund you (see our Refund Policy).
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
